Florence popular amongst 195,000 European women
The Italian city of Florence is especially popular to work in among European women. This city was chosen as a favourite by 319,000 Europeans, of which 195,000 were women. Florence mainly competes with other major cities such as Rome and London on the international labour market, according to our European research: The Global Talent Acquisition Monitor.
Among European talent, Florence is especially popular among Norwegians, Romanians and Portuguese. Around 43 percent of Europeans who are open to working in Florence would like to move to this Tuscan city. And more than 65 percent would like to work here for three years or more. So what are the reasons for moving to Florence? One of the reasons mentioned is the climate, which is not very surprising given the region. In addition, these Europeans also want to get to know the culture, they already have a partner who lives / works or wants to live in this city or they want to increase their experience.
