Berlin is in fourth place for the most attractive city to work in for Europeans. The German capital was chosen as a favourite by 5 million Europeans and competes mainly with other large cities, such as London, Paris and New York, on the international labour market, according to our European research: The Global Talent Acquisition Monitor.
Berlin is particularly popular among European men from all parts of Europe. Berlin is most popular in Hungary, Slovenia and Austria. Of the Europeans who are open to migration, 42% would like to move to Berlin. A third would even like to work there for more than 5 years. What is the main reason for going to Berlin? Having career options is above average important for this target group, compared to all Europeans who want to work abroad. In addition, improving the standard of living and the possibility to increase the experience are important reasons to go to Berlin.
